I appeared for driving license road test twice but failed. Now I am due to appear again and wanted to know if I fail again when can I reappear...I mean do I have to wait for 6 months or what? Also could anyone tell me the correct speed limit to drive in a residential area?

From what I read, you are allowed three attempts within one year from the date that you paid your application fee. From what I've heard from a friend, her sister attempted to get her license when she was 16, failed, and had to wait until she was 18 in order to get her license. But if you're unsure about this, just call the DMV and ask. And usually in residential areas, there would be signs everywhere telling you the speed limit. If there's a school nearby, most likely it'll be 20. Otherwise, it's either 25 or 35, depending on the neighborhood.

Go to the state drivers license website or office they can tell you when you can reappear. As far as the speed limit most residential areas are between 25 and 35 MPH but always follow the signs as speed will change depending on the population. Most places will post signs saying a certain speed unless otherwise posted.
