I do not know what you are trying to get at with your two questions but I can only answer what I think you have asked and to me you seem to be very inexperienced in the ways of working for a living so:
Take note of what people are saying at any induction whether it is a safety briefing or other work related briefing. Usually the information is given to you to help you get into the way of working correctly as quickly as possible so that you are as safe at work as possible so long as you follow the "rules" given to you.
You may be asked questions but it will usually be to find out how experienced you are - or not - so that the induction should give you useful and possibly new information.

I hope that helps.

Induction is the same as an introduction to health & safety, they go over the rules and regulations of health & safety with you.

Only on one occasion have i ever been asked to answer a question on a health & saftey induction.

Usually what happens is they run through the health & safety and any specifics. Give you some leaflets & booklets and then get you to sign a peice of paper to say you attended.

The induction is for THEM to tell YOU about it. They might just ask a few questions about what they've said, to make sure you've taken it in. I do, anyway.

You don't need any prior knowledge, other than common sense.

A few that you may be asked....
Can you leave a trail of rubbish from the customers house to the truck without falling over?
How can you spend all day driving around whilst collecting as little rubbish as possible?

They don't ask any questions, they will tell you the procedures that you have to stick to.
