In some states the poor kid has to be 4'9". How embarrassing is that? Pretty soon they will force small adults to squeeze into a car seat. I wonder how much money some car seat manufacturer paid for this law. How does one check campaign contributions to those who voted this nonsense into law?

I saw my son's bus driver take a photo of him while he was loading the bus. The camera was in the driver's lap and that is where I saw him push the button. He then slid the camera to the side out of sight. I have contacted all kinds of people with the school district but as of yet have no information on the matter. What would you do?

I keep seeing questions on this site about stopping for schoolbuses (mainly posed by Americans, I believe). Are there actually laws about stopping for them in the USA, or is it just about making sure you don't hit kids?

Thanks in advance for helping this Englishman with his query.

You leave your home at seven o'clock streight up every morning going to work.
A person or business puts a digital clock along side the road. The clock is four (4) minutes fast. You adjust your speed in order to get back on what you think is your scheduled driving time. You have a wreck due to the increased speed. Does the owner of the clock bear any responsibilty for giving the incorect information. The information you received visiablly and adjusted your speed because you preseved to be running late.

They say its because of the old retired people mixed with the young youthful partiers. But could it be the mixed culture? The mass of illegal immigrants that don't have a clue... that drive thru lights... that jay-walk across busy streets... that weave their motorcycles between lanes of traffic... that stop in the middle of intersections... that sell everything from flowers to newspapers on the corner of every main street.

I know it the driver responsibility to ensure that all children are restrained, but is it fair that they get a if a child is in their car unrestrained. An example may be that a mother and her baby get aride with a friend, and whilst travelling, the mother holds the baby on her lap. I know that the driver has the option of not taking them if the baby is not restrained, but what if the mother and her restrained baby were in the backseat, and she took the baby out of the restraint to feed it without the driver noticing, and then got pulled over by the cops? What do you think???

There is a debate going on over wether or not you should be allowed to talk on your cell while driving. My high school science project is on this and it proves that a cell-phone slowers your reaction time while driving. Do you think it should become illegal, like it will in California this July of 2007? Or is it ok to talk and drive at the same time? Answers will be great help for my project!

You see a big truck with his signal lamp on. He's trying to get in the left lane because a trooper has someone pulled over on the shoulder. Do you use your hi beams to indicate to him it's ok to come over, or turn your lights completely off and on again, or do you do nothing and try to beat past him/her so you don't get stuck behind him? Or is there something else you may or may not do? The answers to this question will be used in a study I'm doing for a trucking magazine.

My car needed new rear tyres but only a very small area on the inner edge was worn and the rest of the tyre had lots of tread left. If the weight is only on such a small area of the tyre, surely this cannot give good road grip. I have always found that the rear end tends to slip easily in the wet etc- even when the tyres were new. The dealers tell me this is normal for the car and nothing to worry about. Has anyone experienced and had this corrected?

In my VW beetle I left my college campus to drive home one weekend even though my mother had a premonition I shouldn't do it. I told her not to worry and that everything would be fine. Little did I know! On I-75 below Macon, Georgia, I drove into a bad rainstorm which rapidly became a monster of a storm. I really couldn't even see enough to get off the interstate, and I kept driving and hoping the storm would blow over. It got worse and worse, and suddenly I saw a U-Haul trailor in the road ahead of me. It was either sitting still or barely moving, and I had no choice but to hit it head on or try to go around. I turned sharply to the left, and my VW turned over and skidded down the highway on the driver's side, with sparks shooting up through the water. When the car came to a halt lying on the driver's side, I decided to jump out of the car as I raised the passenger door straight up in the air. Before I could jump, my VW was struck by another car and I was ejected.............
