They say its because of the old retired people mixed with the young youthful partiers. But could it be the mixed culture? The mass of illegal immigrants that don't have a clue... that drive thru lights... that jay-walk across busy streets... that weave their motorcycles between lanes of traffic... that stop in the middle of intersections... that sell everything from flowers to newspapers on the corner of every main street.

Climate, culture, age-ism, lax enforcement, poor road design, economic disparities (a lot of very poor and a lot of very rich), language barriers ... it's hard to find a social cause of road rage that ISN'T present in Miami in abundance.
I found it interesting that Washington, D.C was #3 ... I would have wagered they would rank higher.

I live 35 miles north of Miami, and I think it's true about the cultural aspects clogging the roads. Life in Brazil, Cuba, and many south American countries is very crowded and hectic, and those people move to the USA and don't necessarily adhere to the cultural differences when driving. The motorcycle weaving thing makes me nuts !

I don't know, but I've been through Miami airport and thought it was one step from chaos. If the city is like the airport, I'm going to put off visiting indefinitely!

Why do you have to blame illegal immigrants for every effing thing ?? Also what I find quite interesting is there are Citizens who do the exact same thing which you've mentioned, but yet you pose this question as if everything or everyone's wrong doings are illegal immigrants fault. Humph!
