It is a 1999 Dodge Caravan and it is the kind where you just change the bulb and not the whole lens, bulb, and all. They are very dull and its almost to the point where it is dangerous to drive. The only reason i havent stopped her or tried to fix them is be cause 98% of the time she is home well before dark.

Let's say you're making a left turn at a green light (not a green arrow). Should you pull out passed the stop line to yield to oncoming traffic or should you wait behind the line? When I'm driving with my dad, he tells me to pull passed the line so I can turn when the oncoming traffic stops for a red light. That way at least one car will turn left each green light. Just about everybody I see pulls passed the line. When I was driving with my driver's education teacher, he said not to pull out because it's against the law. I'm taking my road test in a few days and need to know if my dad is right or if my teacher is right. I don't want to fail my test just because I do what everyone else does. Thanks.

Is there a signal to let the car behind you know that their high beams are on and they are blinding you?

I have a serious case of road rage, and sometimes I want to just stop in the middle of the street and get out the car and cuss the person out, but I know thats not a good idea :-)

Is there another way I could tell them to turn their high beams off??!!

i just bought an exercise cycle yesterday (this is my first exercise cycle) and whenever i get on the seat i feel a kind of wobble. it only happens when i get on the seat, or sometimes if i ride really hard. i keep my cycle on a dense firm carpet. how do i stop my cycle from wobbling?

another thing that is worrying me is that the cycle had certain cosmetic defects (a motif of minor scratches on the top of the fuselage and a notable black scratch on the side). is it eligible for return. did i get a defective piece or can that happen during transportation? (cuz i dont want no defective machine)

At what age do you think teens/young adults should be allowed to drive? (Example: 16,17, 18....)

At what age do you feel they should stop driving? (Example Over 50, Over 60, Over 70....)

And any reason why?

I consider myself to be a safe driver. Except when my (soon to be Ex-) wife is yelling in my ear about whatever she is irritated about at the moment and screaming at me to change lanes because i got in the wrong lane. "THE OTHER LANE IDIOT!!"

I nearly have a collision with the car to the side of me. I am so sorry for scaring them like that and causing them to be upset.

My brother wants to follow us around and kind of come at her like running a stop sign, to see how she'll react if she almost gets hit. I also thought maybe I'd yell something while she was driving like LOOK OUT - even if nothing bad is happening.

Perhaps tell her "turn left at the next stop sign" when I know it's actually a one way, and left would be the wrong way - just to see if she's really paying attention and would do it, or would look carefully first.

I just want her to be really ready in real-life situations, not just some nice pleasant unrealistic driving practice?

Thoughts?

Drinking and driving is a serious offense and shouldn't be made fun of! This PSA shows 3 scenes each with a guy behind the wheel with beer up to his chest, another shows the beer up to a guy's neck, and the other...I think you get the idea. A cop steps up to the car, sees the interior of the car filled with beer like it was a lake inside and asks, "Have you been drinking, sir?" The car door opens and all the beer gushes out like the dam just broke! That's the stupidish PSA I've ever seen! The cop can't tell by the looks & the smell that its beer? He can't tell the guy must have been drinking?

Why is it that people in cars have to wear seatbelts and people on motorcycles and buses dont have to wear one? People in cars get tickets for not wearing them and people on buses and motorcycles dont.

In a few weeks a friend and I are moving from San Antonio, TX to San Francisco, CA. My car isn't the newest but it is in decent shape and hasn't shown any signs of breaking down (do they ever?), but my friend is concerned about getting stranded in the desert at night. He keeps referring to long stretches of abandoned road with no gas station or cellphone coverage (though he's never been in the southwest), and insists we stop before 5pm every evening.

Our route is taking us on I-10 all the way to the Los Angeles area. Is the road ever abandoned in the mid-early evening (before 9pm)? I would assume there is always quite a bit of traffic, especially semis, but I admit I have never driven through the area either.

Any insight is appreciated. I'd rather not wake up at 4am twice in a row if I don't have to. ;)

So I was turning into my apartments parking garage, and some woman was sitting in her car waiting for her friend with the car door open about 10 feet in front of me and a little to the left. I had no room to get into the garage through the right, and so I was waiting for her to move forward. When her friend came back, she started reversing the car without looking behind her and nailed the front of my car. I wasn't moving at all, just waiting for her to move. She filed a suit saying I rear ended her, and now I am in a tough situation. She obviously has messed up morals and I have absolutely no leverage. What on earth should I do?

Why do captains of passanger airplanes ask you to keep your safty belts fastened right after the landing? Have you heard about a recent explosion of an airplane in Japan? It exploded after the landing was completed. Luckily all the passengers were able to escape from the ailrplane by the time of explosion. A friend of mine who was right there in that airplane told me that they sensed some smoke long before the explosion - while they were still in their seats. He said one woman was so terrified by the smoke, she freaked out, sat down right in the middle of the aisle and wouldn't move, so people had to carry her out of the airplane to let others behind her leave the airplane. Can you imagine if she were in such a state while still in her seat with her safty belts fastened? I think she would have been a victim then.

Is there a highway code for them to follow and abide to, as we have in the UK?? A vehicle can be a "killing machine" so needs are such that drivers need to be aware of this fact. Also what is the legal driving age in this country?
