Done Bruges-Calais in 55 minutes once. Think i did just over 100mph most of the way. Got away with it and managed to catch the ferry as my reward :-)
Anything over 105 becomes iffy. Steering start vibrating and all that. I would never buy a 'fast' car, it would be too tempting.

Took a Lexus Soarer Twin Turbo to 167 on a test track, on the roads about 120 I guess. It's great to read all these goodies telling you they've never crossed the speed limit isn't it?!!? You really should offer them brownie points to make them feel like they got a nice pat on the head from teacher!!!! Everybody that can and does drive will have gone over the speed limit at some point, whether it be deliberate or by accident.

In the 80s in Scotland I drove at 140mph on a few occasions, mostly I stick to 80-90 though. I've been in a Ferrari Testa Rosa at 180mph on Bedford Road between Ampthill and Bedford in Bedfordshire in the late 80s.
Sadly, the one time I was on an unlimited autobahn in Germany I had a crummy Fiat, flat out at 210kph :-(
Fastest in the US? 120mph, darned soft rev limiter :-(
I have never been caught at serious speed, I am very careful where and when I misbehave.

i cant really say how fast ive gone in my car , because no speedo in any car is 100 percent accurate and the faster you go the more inacurrate it becomes and you could be doing more than it says as well as less but most cars tend to show your going faster than you really are and the hand held speed cameras are not 100 percent accurate either the old ones the police used showed a lampost doing over 20mph and a horse drawn barge doing over 40mph they were so bad they had to stop using them as so many people were arguing in court that they were faulty speed guns

just 139 in my last car not a problem
manufacturer spec was 143mph
125 followed by the law for ten miles when i slowed to 95 they passed and just flicked the blue lights on
it was 3 am so they didn't seem to care
fastest journey 99miles in 57 minutes
if speed kills as they say i would be long dead
never had accident drive 20-30000miles a year

somebody have been given me beat to OKC for criminal reasons. From Lawton to OKC in forty 5 to 50 minutes following, that White Van, that i'm no longer loopy sufficient to have a dying choose, to get to the city. that's a pair of Hour tension in case you pass the fee minimize. i think of I reached a hundred and fifteen+? at circumstances. i understand somebody who traveled the comparable distance in quarter-hour, yet there a Cop and that they are have been on a undertaking for criminal reasons. Courts, criminals, time replaced right into a substantial ingredient! No fee ticket, yet that would have SUCKED!

145mph in a Sierra 4x4 some years ago.
The lamp posts on the motorway went by like fence posts and I couldn't handle that speed tbh.
