wow people are seriously negative in here, well, up to the first two answerers, I guess they value their car alot, and the advice is taken, don't glue stuff, but as for the whole will come back to you, that's kind of like a threat... with out any comfort, but alas, it depends on what you give now doesn't it?

What are you trying to do? There are two ways to look at decorating a car for a wedding! One is the kind and nice way; one is more of the "we got you" style. I am going to assume that you want to have a little fun, and "get" the bride and groom!

You do not want to do permanent damage to the vehicle, or anything that causes the car to be unsafe to drive.

Some ideas:

Fill the car with balloons (or blown up condoms).
Set rice on the visors so that it falls on them.
Write things on the back and side windows
Tie the cans, if you are going to do that, to something on the undercarriage!
If the car has wheel covers, put a couple of pennies or small rocks in each one, to make noise!

Non-toxic white shoe polish (the liquid kind with the sponge type applicator on top) is great for writing on glass. Car dealers actually use it! Do not write on the paint! Do not use any glue!

The police are not going to have a problem with the windows being written on, unless it causes a safety issue! Do not block the drivers view!

Hint one. When you write on the windows, get inside the car and trace the letters on the inside also! When they take the car to the car wash (and they will) the letters on the outside will wash off, but the lettering on the inside will stay!

There are other things that can be done, but I do not want to teach every prankster in the world all my secrets!

If you glued anything to my car, you would be paying a lot of money to fix my finish.

Just remember, what you do to others will come back to roost 10 fold.
