I just red an article about a teenager who was hit by a train because he was too distracted by text messaging to notice the blaring horns and flashing lights.
Amazingly,he survived.

I just learned that California law allows me to make a 'free-right' turn, that is yield instead of coming to a complete stop in permissible intersections. I did just that a few months ago and recieved a ticket for not coming to a complete stop. I've just recently read an article about this 'free-right' turn here...

It's already been months passed since my ticket. Do I have a case for fighting this in court still?

Its a hard decision I know. But, I am kind of on the fence about it. Since both of these happen to be just about everyday. I get stuck behind someone with no use for a turn signal or simply puts it on and keeps it on. :)

When I bought this sports coupe of mine, it had racing tires already on them. I never changed the tires. However, the grip is kind of bad when it rains, so I just drive extremely slow and cautious. During the dry times, that car is so fast. Anyway, If I get all weather tires for safety purposes will it decline my cars speed performance on the road or will it not have an effect on it?

No car should crumble like that at such a low speed.

I am going to purchase a 2000 Buick Century Custom. I looked at the recalls for it, and two of them could potentially be dangerous. How do I go about letting the dealership aware of this before I purchase it? Do they have an obligation to check the car out and see if it was affected by the recalls? Do I have to pay for potential repairs out of pocket for these recalls if affected?? Please help.

The snow can really get heavy around here and my Jeep is kind of a safe feeling because sometimes I drive home at nite in a rural area when no one else is on the road after dark at 9PM. If its snowing, I get worried. I survived some pretty horrible snow last winter.
I am going to purchase a new vehicle in 2008, so I have started researching the vehicles. I cannot see myself purchasing a little economy car to drive thru snow drifts in bad weather.
Do you have any suggestions what kind of vehicle I should buy. Are there any 4WD hybrids out there that would be a good idea or should I go for another jeep. I am just asking for suggestions and to help me get started on purchasing my new car. I need some idea's.

I live within walking distance from the Dream Cruise. Can I put up a sign and charge people $20 bucks to park on my lawn or in my driveway? Or will Ferndale Police think its a buisness of some sort?

People believe if a car sinks it'll keep trapped air. Maybee on a new car but I know my cars a 1988 model & i doubt my car is sealed tight enough to prevent all the air from escaping.

Science shows it would prevent millions of accidents.

When changing gear in a UK car with the steering wheel on the right, your left hand changes gear and your right hand stays on the steering wheel, (this is safer for right handed people.)

The reverse is the case in countries where one must drive on the right.-- in the USA you hold the steering wheel with your left hand and change gear with your right hand, this is dangerous if you are right handed.

Bicycles: Try mounting a bike in the USA and you will find yourself in the stream of traffic when getting on the bike---- try it yourself. Mounting a bike in the UK is done from the sidewalk by right handed people .

To reverse in the UK hold the steering wheel with right hand and look over my left shoulder to the rear window. In a USA car left hand is used and view is over right shoulder.

Right handed people are mostly "right eyed" the traffic comes toward them on their right in the UK but from the left in the US
