I just red an article about a teenager who was hit by a train because he was too distracted by text messaging to notice the blaring horns and flashing lights.
Amazingly,he survived.

Just as dangerous as driving a car whilst using the mobile phone.
I am continually horrified to see people (mostly women) leaving the school gates in their cars, making calls on mobiles. I only hope they are able to pick up their offspring later.

I hate to say it ... but cellphone use on roadways, in safety hazard areas, in classrooms and public facilities ... should be regulated. It seems to me that others uses of technology inappropriately, puts innocent folks at risk.
