Fog lights or distance lights?
I'm ready to add some lights to my 06 wrangler. I noticed that the choices are driving lights, distance lights, and fog lights.
What’s the difference? I live in the south and e don't have allot of fog. Any recommendations?

sounds bizarre, but that's what someone told me. he reckons most or if not all the road infrastructure has a system of elements that heat the road up like an electric blanket keeping the snow off all the time

The on board computer says it has a faulty EGR valve, which was serviced. The check light turned on few days later after a hard acceleration (up to 4000-5000rpm). What can be wrong with the car?

My car was towed due to street cleaning in September. A couple of weeks ago, both of my tires stripped and one of them exploded while I was driving it. Also, my steering wheel had been acting a bit wonky and wasn't centered anymore. We took the car to a mechanic we know and without us telling him anything but what happened, he had asked us if the car had been towed recently. We said yes and he concluded that the damage was due to the tow company attaching the car by the TIE ROD, thus bending it. The bent tie rod is to blame for these problems - the thing is, it's going to be a bit expensive for us to fix. Is there any way we can prove that the tow company is to blame for this and any way we can make THEM pay for it? It's only fair seeing that there wasn't even a sign where I parked.

Thanks!

I purchased it from a seller on Ebay who has a 500 feedback rating and only 5 negatives. All he sells are the resistor chips for different cars. It only costed me $5 total.

BUT, different people have been giving me mixed advice regarding whether or not I should put it in my car. Some had said that it will work fine and others have warned that it will end up screwing my car's motor up.

I have a short ram air intake in it now and just got new spark plugs put into it. I dont want to take the chance of messing my car up.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?????WELL INFORMED, EXPERIENCED ADVICE ONLY!

I am afraid of car wrecks anyway. Do you have any advice for the driver? Long big car on ice or shorter compact car? Please tell me. (I've never been in this category before.)

I bought a new 2007 Honda Civic about 3 weeks ago. After having it only a week the horn started to go off at odd times and it would stay on until I hit it to make it stop. I live 70 miles from the dealer. I have had it in there 2 times, they havent fixed it. They pretty much have called me a liar because they wont keep it for more than an hour and it happens so randomly. They say they dont have to give me a loaner but that I can rent a car from Enterprise. NOW I am dealing with Honda corporate, but I am having a hard time getting them to return my calls. I originally just wanted it fixed. Now it is getting worse and other things are acting strange. When the horn goes off my cruise control doesnt work. The excitement of having a new car is long gone. I hate the car now. I want to take it back because it has been such a hassel. What can I do legally to make them take care of this, and can I take it back if they keep putting me off?

I live in a newer residential area - the city has maximized the number of homes in an area and minimized the width of the roads as much as they can get away with. So here's the problem:
To get to my home, you have to enter off the main road road a t-intersection. On an almost daily basis, the individual living on the corner of the t-intersection insists on parking his huge pick up truck right after you enter the intersection. Effectively, anyone turning left cannot see anyone turning right off the intersection with this truck parked where it is. Those turning off the main road into the intersection have to turn wide either way because this car is parked so close to the intersection. If there's an oncoming car neither can see and with the roads being so slippery there's the potential that an accident can happen.
I called the city and they are unable to help. What do you suggest? I was thinking to leave a note on this dude's windshield asking him kindly to not park there..
