The Jones 'Iron Fairy'.

Available in sizes from 6 tonnes to 40 tonnes, it was / is, light, strong and manoeuvrable (hence the name). They could even be used inside buildings.

Iron Fairy's first appeared in the late 60's and were a very common sight in construction, boatyards, road building, etc. all over the U.K. right through the 70's and 80's.

When we had industry, the most versatile was the Jones, either the 66 or the 77 lattice cantilever fully hydraulic. Hope this helps.
