Actually, what you all describe as a clean title, is in fact, a clear title. No liens etc. A clean title refers to the condition of the vehicle - I.e. No accident damage. Sometimes the owner of a rebuilt title car, will strive to have the repair performed so well, that it will graduate to a clean title.

A clean Title means that there are NO liens against it..so if ya bought it, no one can come and take it....watch out for the used car dealer...if he has no shop to do repairs---stay away....go to Honda and look at their used cars..or Hundayi or Chevy, or Nissan dealerships..They HAVE to sell you the best used car, with a 125 point check and list all repairs...stay away from the corner used car dealer...he is only out to make a buck......he is like a fly by night---night mare.....they will take advantage of you!! Please do as I say, I've been there and done that!!

clean title means that no one else has any claim on it but the persons name that it is in.For example:If you have a car with a title in your name and If you used it for colleteral for a loan from bank, or finance company and still owe these companies then the title if not clean. But if you owe no one for it,then it is clean.Hope this helps.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.
