Usually license suspensions come from either not paying tickets or as part of the penalty for a driving offense. If you've paid off your ticket fines and/or served whatever suspension term was imposed then you are probably fine to drive. That said, I would contact your local department of motor vehicles (DMV) and ask them whether or not your license is still under suspension. They should be able to clear up any questions you might have. Good luck, drive safe.

Is your wife a judge? Does she work for the DMV or the State police? Unless you get some paperwork that says that your license is reinstated, I wouldn't chance it. The only other thing I can think of is to call the police or DMV and inquire about your license, and see what the official verdict is. Don't go on hearsay and "my wife said". That can get you into some trouble.

Well if your WIFE says so, why do you need us? If your license isn't suspended, you can drive. But I'd sure want to know for sure that it wasn't because if it really is, and you get stopped, the cop isn't going to take "my wife told me it was ok" for an excuse.

Depending in what state you live in you may have surcharges to pay in order to get the release of your license. Without the release you wont be able to drive so check with the DMV first

I would say go to the DMV and find out if the suspension has been lifted in their records. I would think you would need a letter from the court to present to the DMV, but every state is different.

that's probably a question you should ask your DMV. They should send you letter stating that your suspension was revoked!
