HELL NO! It smells like a old gym bag filled with sweat-filled socks. But thats my personal opinion.

The trees smell like .... a fresh tree
They do make scents like "new car", but the actual new car smell is the chemicals emitting from the plastic and stuff, that can be bad for you

Most of that new car scent is the chemicals used to make the new car and given off by the stuff ( carpets, seat material, and wires) and can actually make you sick and give you cancer. Put that into an air freshner, laugh.
Depends on if you like that smell, it's better than what dirty wet shoes smell like.

Some do but I don't particularly like them. I prefer to clean my rugs then dribble some cologne on the rugs in my car. If you can find a spray bottle of mens cologne and you like it use that on your rugs. Better yet--spray the ceiling of your car with a scent that women love and the one I found that absolutely works every time is _________? Well maybe you should ask that question to "females only" on this site. I'm sure you will get some great ideas--good luck

"new car scent" ..... is this the blue little pine? if it is.... well it smells good... i like it...
plus if you read the pakage it says to only cut the top of the plastic it comes in and just let a the top piece out... and maybe a week later pull it out a little more and so on.... but yea i buy that one most of the time... its a nice smell.

Don't know, but I heard that the new car smell comes from the plastic parts in the car when it gets heated. My car still smells new, even though it's not. But I also heard the plastic causes cancer--oh, well!

it doesn't really smell like a new car, the smell is fine, but waaaaay strong. either dont' take it out of the package all the way or place it far away from you!! but i did like the smell.
