I know already red, blue, and white are because of impersonating cops and such but what about anything else? I'm looking to put some on my z06 Corvette.

Yes, it is currently illegal. It was made illegal in the 80's after a few accidents where the underglow lights ignited fires in the cars. These were where minor oil/fuel leaks were ignited because the lights broke or because of improper wiring.

I have been searching the Code of Virginia, but I have been unable to find the exact code. Sorry.

Good luck!
