I tried USPS, but I was over the total inches allowed. It is 60 in long, and 58 in girth. (about 18 inch W & H) I want to get this from CA to WA, don't really care how long it takes, $ is my main factor. UPS wants $130 & Fed Ex wants $98, thats kinda alot for me :( It is boxed and shipping tape wrapped like a mummy already to go ;)

51,000 miles, b4 me leasing my car use to be a rental. It has no problem with starting up; but just a slight delay than normal, nothing too abnormal 2 me. When I began 2 drive it only stays on 10 speedometer, when i get to driving it cranks up slowly to 15,20 not much really over 20. When I slow down then it goes back down to 10 and stays there until it cranks back up. If I press down on the gas all the way it still does not crank; but acknowledges that i'm apply pressure; but wont go no faster. There is no visual leakage on the ground. Twice in 3 days it has stopped; but had no problem starting back up. What do you think is the problem and/ or what should I do? Reverse isn't an issue. I have no problem with reversing, just speed, gears, and the car has a stank smoke smell, and the motor shakes a bit and the car has somewhat of a loud sound. PLEASE HELP!

OK so it's really late at night and you pull up to a traffic light and it's red. You are waiting and waiting and there are no cars around.

I've heard if you flash your high beams that will help make the light turn green.

I've also heard if you drive close to the pedestrian crosswalk and back up it can trigger some kind of sensor.

So are these urban legends? What's the truth?

I'm talking about the original K.I.T.T. (the new K.I.T.T. is going to be a Shelby Ford Mustang which to me isn't all that hot). I saw the new car that was originally chosen & it was better than any car on the road today, very futuralistic.

I had a 2004 G35 with the Brembos/6-spd and loved it. ...but, it was way too heavy and expensive. What can I buy with a 2+2 configuration under 3000 pounds. Although it's FWD, I'm considering a Civic Si.

I know gas station stickers, and what not say you are not supposed to fill your tank with the engine running (and i'm not thinking of actually doing it) but what are the odds of this actually causing a problem? couldn't a car fill up while on the move similar to how military jets do? as long as no spark found its way into the tank, or gas supply?

You see these black things on the front of cars in USA and wonder why they do it.

Why do they do it? I am sure it's not to add beauty.

Was driving the works mini bus with disabled children and when we parked I displayed the badge and clock on the dashboard on the drivers side. When we returned I had a parking ticket for not displaying a valid disabled badge. Are there any rules for displaying the badge? Is it suppose to be on the passenger side because in the past a child has removed it from there so I always put it on the drivers side.

If you saw someone being beaten and then maybe dragged on the side of the road, or a child being abused on the side of the road. If you saw a bad car accident on the side of the road would you stop your car?

Keep in mind that I live in the US.
When you make a right-turn, do you need to check for cars coming from the right? Naturally the only traffic that would merge would be the cars coming from the left, but is it still necessary to glance to the right before hand?

P.S. To all of you who live outside the US and drive on the left side of the road, just reverse the directions given and pursue the question as thus.

I see work trucks all the time, with yellow or white flashing lights, how would one justify barring me, a private citizen to do the same, as they are privately owned vehicles. Blue is obviously illegal in some states because it is specialized for the police. In others red is used for the police as well as fire. In North Carolina can one have flashing red lights; technically we already have flashing red lights built in to our car by law.
