The Ford Focus has topped the best-seller lists in the UK for the last 10 years, so it is likely by now to be the most common car.

A quick look out of my window shows a predominance of Peugeots (3) one Rover, two VW Golfs and a Ford Orion.

Most of the neighbours are at work so this is not a representative figure.

I don't know if this helps, its the sales figures for a second hand car dealer.

Probably Clio's and Corsa's.

More interesting - how many cars are on the UK roads that are actually OWNED by the drivers (i.e. not paying monthly to finance companies). Where I work there are a lot of 18-25 year olds and there isn't a car there older than a 05 plate.

Except me, who has more sense.
