Of course. And I have. I saw a child being abused in a parking lot. I parked my car behind the mom's. As I approached the woman, I got out my cell phone, dialing 911, which she saw, and she stopped hitting the little girl. She shoved her in the car and turned the key in the ignition, and as she looked like ramming my '65 Mustang, I told her she was already in trouble, and not to add to it by ending up in long term traction. The police came and arrested her. I was never able to find out what happened to the child.....hope someone is taking care of her.
I also stop at accidents. I have flares and reflectors, and hopefully the cell phone is charged up. I usually carry a blanket in the car too. I live in rural Arizona....sometimes the nearest help is pretty far away. I'd want someone to do as much for me.

Honestly, If it were a child I would stop my car and try to help. If it were an adult I probably would just call 911.

Damn straight. It could be me that is getting or is hurt or my child so given that, I wouldn't have to think about helping someone in need, I would just do it.

I would call the police but I would not get out of my car. The person or persons could have a weapon.
