I'm talking about the original K.I.T.T. (the new K.I.T.T. is going to be a Shelby Ford Mustang which to me isn't all that hot). I saw the new car that was originally chosen & it was better than any car on the road today, very futuralistic.

Airwolf, hands down.
Though to be fair, Airwolf needs a pilot. K.I.T.T. does not.

Airwolf would totally win.
The Airwolf helicopter was a modified Bell 222. It had stealth capability, turbojet engines, machine guns and missles. It had a full sensor suite, could jam communications, tap into computers and do other random things that I never saw K.I.T.T. do.
K.I.T.T. was heavily armored, fire resistant, coudl blow smoke and oil slick, had a grappling hook, a parachute, a flame thrower, tear gas, a laser, and some other gadgets and gizmos.
What it did not have, was the ability to fly. Oh sure, the turbo boost was neat, but how often would the enemy be hovering right in front of K.I.T.T. in just the right angle for K.I.T.T. to hit it by boosting up a ramp? Like never.
If Airwolf blew all it's ammo and rockets and missed K.I.T.T. everytime, it's pilot could just hover over K.I.T.T. and heave boudlers at it and K.I.T.T. wouldn't be able to do anything but eject Michael Knight up into the air, maybe denting the underside of Airwolf with his head, or maybe getting caught in the blades and ruining Airwolf's paint job.
K.I.T.T. can't fly. Airwolf wins, hands down.

I love K.I.T.T., but Airwolf would win, hands down. K.I.T.T. had very few, if any offensive weapons. Add the manueverablity and speed, not to mention rockets and machine guns from Airwolf...
poor K.I.T.T. would go up in a blaze of glory!

Airwolf's helicopter was lethal!! I think the helicopter would destroy Kitt.

Definitely the helicopter. KITT was pretty much a pacifist and not heavily armed.

I depends. If they were in the mountains I would have to say the helicopter. If they were in a tunnel thru a mountain I'd have to say kitt.
