I tried USPS, but I was over the total inches allowed. It is 60 in long, and 58 in girth. (about 18 inch W & H) I want to get this from CA to WA, don't really care how long it takes, $ is my main factor. UPS wants $130 & Fed Ex wants $98, thats kinda alot for me :( It is boxed and shipping tape wrapped like a mummy already to go ;)

You know, if you wait for winter you can drive it there for free. It's just a thought.

Call a freight forwarding company who combine shipments for truckers or a freight line which goes between CA and WA. There are many shipments , LTL or LCL, which need additional freight. They should be able to ship much cheaper than either UPS or Fed Ex.

I hate to say this, but it may be less expensive to purchase a new one and let LLBean ship it. Today they have free shipping. I ordered two sleds from them two weeks ago.... they were having free shipping, but charged an extra $10 for oversize shipping.
