How much would it cost to change an 94' geo prizm in great shape from a manual to an automatic?

I love my car and I am in college..would it cost more to buy a new one or exchange it?

duh
buy another one w/ an automatic

manual and automatic layout r different and would cost more to change than buy

It would cost twice as much as the car is worth!
Buy a newer car...that one is going to start nickel-diming you to death!
