Hi! I would appreciate all your best formulas for parking. I'm having difficulty not only with parallel - but in other varied situations too. If you have any tips, I would like to practice them. Thank you!

We just bought a used natural gas-powered Ford F-150 pickup truck and it's great! Natural gas (methane) is only 64 cents a gallon here in Utah, and it's the cleanest fossil fuel in the world. Not every state has gas stations available for filling up, but if everybody would show some real interest in getting away from gasoline and moving on to something better for the environment as well as a whole lot cheaper, then it could become a reality for the entire country! All I know is I can fill up for $9.00 and the truck runs and drives just the same as any other pickup truck. There is plenty of natural gas in our own country (many people heat their homes and cook with it), so I'm thinking the only thing keeping the idea from taking off is our own government and "big oil". I just haven't found a downside to this yet, and it's not just an idea; it's real. Start bothering your state and local reps - everybody should be using natural gas (cng). I do, and it feels great! No more blood for oil...

For years I've been having recurring nightmares of finding myself alone in a car and crashing it (sometimes into people...Vice City style...) eventually. A few weeks ago I started driving lessons and now I'm slightly less afraid of driving when I'm conscious but the nightmares persist and I'm constantly imagining horrible scenes where I crash and kill my passengers and ruin my life because of it. I really don't know how to get over this phobia. I'm terrified of losing control. I just wish I didn't have to learn to drive but it's "an important life skill" so I don't really have a choice...

P.S. I'm 17, if that has any relevance.

And please help me because I'm getting my license this summer and how am I suppose to do that if I don't even know what types of cars there are!

i was going at about 37 mph on interstate highway on the extreme left lane and i got pulled over for going too slow and impeding the flow of traffic. Also i was ticketed for taking out lots of heavy black smoke and smog out of tail pipe.

I feel this is very unfair because i was targeted simply because my vehicle is too old. How come new car drivers are never ticketed?

My car doesn't run over 40 mph because its transmission and engine have no more strength left in it. I tried telling this to officer and he said he will write me a 3rd ticket if i argue more and he even said, "using bus is better than driving lemons and endangering yours and other people's lives".

I now feel discriminated and humiliated. The officer was unfair in issuing me a ticket, right?

He also was driving on a suspended license and did not have the baby that was in his vehicle in a car seat. Who do i talk to to get this deadbeat to do jail time before he kills someone? He never put on his brakes ! btw.. he only got tickets! Do i need to talk to the D.A?

I just turned 18 on the 12th. I need to take my written test first of course. In order to do this, I do know I need two types of identification to show the D.M.V.. Unfortunately, my mom misplaced my birth certificate. I have my social security card and my school I.D.. Will that work at the D.M.V.? (Los Angeles, CA) I know I can call and ask but it is 9:06PM here and I want to know right now. hehe...

I have a 1993 Chrysler LeBaron 2.5L.

I am installing aftermarket fog lamps (fog lamps where not an option on this car) and I need to connect the power supply wire to the positive side of the vehicle's fuse box or battery terminal.

Well the cord won't reach the battery (unless there is some extender I could use) so I need to do it to the fuse box.

There are "Two" fuse boxes in my car: one under the dash and one under the hood, though I believe the one under the hood is the "official" fuse box and the one under the dash is just quick access to some.

Be as detailed as you can as I'm not very electrically inclined with cars.

I'm 19 and wortked 90 hours a week for 4 months in a row to buy a 1980 Camaro Z28. When i first brought it home my old ***** neighbor was pissed because of how loud it was. Now i've seen her sprinkling salt on the hood and she doesn't know I've seen her. I can't go to the authorities because they will always believe the old lady over the kid, which I found out last year when she poisoned my lawn and then just denied even though I and some of my friends saw her.

I have heard conflicting reports. One said 1 minute and the other said 10 seconds. Which, if any, is the correct answer? If you are running into a store and you know it will be less than 60 seconds, should you leave your car on or turn it off to consume less gas?

So that say from 7-9am one lane's traffic lights are green and all the others are red. But after 9am its how it usually is (a big pain in the *** which causes major traffic in the morning)

I had this really annoying argument with someone years ago about this - she insisted that most car horns are located on a stick to the side of the steering wheel. I have NEVER seen this that I'm aware of - aren't most car horns a big button ON the steering wheel?

Where's yours?
