I was rear ended while i had on my brakes and blinker to turn. The man was doing 70, had a piece of paper saying he had insurance but found later that he didnt. He also was driving on a suspended license and did not have the baby that was in his vehicle in a car seat. Who do i talk to to get this deadbeat to do jail time before he kills someone? He never put on his brakes ! btw.. he only got tickets! Do i need to talk to the D.A?

You can't lay charges, you can't put him in jail, he has been ticketed (charged), so the law is doing what it should. There is nothing to talk to the D.A. about. Your insurance should be repairing your car, and trying to collect from him. Until that point, you pay your deductible.

Possibly the D.A. your best thing you can do is talk to a cop and ask them who would be best to contact. You may need a lawyer. Jail time in my opinion is only option because if he is a deadbeat suing him won't do any good. Hope you have coverage on your policy.

I used my insurance company when this happened to my wifes car. They got his license and his Fathers (owner of the vehicle) license suspended until the damages were paid off.

I hope that you filed a police report on the accident. If so, the officer should have cited the man for the violations.

chances are he's gone and you'll never see him again. Do you have his name? license? plate #? report him to the cops
usually in these situations the guy will give you fake info thats why you'll probably never see him again.
