I'm 19 and wortked 90 hours a week for 4 months in a row to buy a 1980 Camaro Z28. When i first brought it home my old ***** neighbor was pissed because of how loud it was. Now i've seen her sprinkling salt on the hood and she doesn't know I've seen her. I can't go to the authorities because they will always believe the old lady over the kid, which I found out last year when she poisoned my lawn and then just denied even though I and some of my friends saw her.

never take the law into your own hands or make any threats of any kind. Especially if you think they will believe the old lady over you.
Have you tried talking to her? Why is she harrassing you? How old is she anyway. At 19, I suspect that maybe she is not as old as you think she is. Some cities have by-laws that prohibit loud noisies after a certain time. Where does your neighbour lady live? Right next door or across the street. If your car is waking her up at night I can see why she would be upset, especially if it is right ouside her bedroom window.

Invest in a video camera with motion sensors that come on when someone comes into your driveway, and you will get the proof that way. You can also get a digital camera with 30 second (or more) video capabilities and catch her doing it that way. Then take it to the police. Or go to legal aid. You can find legal aid in the phone book.
Otherwise, try and make friends with her. Offer to do a small favour for her, like drive her to the store, or mow her lawn or something once in awhile. When you see her outside, be polite and say good morning or whatever. Its awful to have a neighbour that you don't like and can not move away from for one reason or another. You well know it. Maybe once she gets to know that you are not a bad person, she might ease up a bit.
Good luck

Video evidence is good - make sure to have a recorder that will give a visible, continuous time and date display on-screen.

It is a criminal offence to tamper with a motor vehicle.

It is a criminal offence to cause damage to property.

It is a criminal offence to intentionally cause harassment.

A word in her ear might help if you can point out these three facts. Failing that, get that camera and recorder and bag the old Biddie! Crime is crime, no matter who has seniority in years, and properly recorded evidence WILL stand up in court, if you need to go that far.

I would buy one of those motion detector cameras that the deer hunters use to track game, they can take still photos and also some take short movies. They can also film day and night and are not too expensive. That way you have proof of what she is doing and can use that in court.

Explain to the nice old lady what can happen if some hoodlum decides to make her a target of a mugging, or if vandals should pick her and her property out for harassment. She might need some assistance from a "kid" if that should happen. Her continued abuse of your property makes that possibility greater every day.

Plan A: Video tape your car. Take the tape to the cops.
Plan B: Get a BB gun. If she get's a stinger in the *** whenever she messes with your car, she'll stop pretty quickly.
