I was just wondering because on the application it asks if you ever had one, and it says (you will not be automatically disqualified if you check yes) but I think thats BS. This question is for employers out there, have you ever hired anyone with a dui or criminal record or did you file their resume in the trash can?

Small claims court isn't worth it; besides the guy is a road-rage driven freak and I'm afraid of what he'd do to me if I charged him in court.
I don't care if the method of finding him is legal; what I plan to do to his car is not legal!

When I went to a restaurant to get some ice cream, my sister waited in the car with it running under the premise that it would take more gas to start the car again than it would burn in, say, 5 minutes of idling. She drives an SUV. Is this statement partially, or fully, true?

According to the May 2007 issue of Consumer Reports, the most reliable cars are Hondas, Subarus, and Toyotas. The least reliable? Jaguars, Land Rovers, and Mercedes-Benzes. Why are Japanese cars more reliable than European cars, especially considering the reputation of European cars ... not to mention the prices?

I asked the question "Is a 1958 VW bus a good starter car for a teenager????" I got alot of answers telling me a VW bus was not such a good idea. (thank you by the way)
My daughter has wanted a VW bus since she was 10 years old and 6 years later, she has not changed her mind. She has her heart set on one and does not want anything else. She is very responsible but after hearing all these peoples opinions, I dont think it is the right car for her. DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD CAR THAT SHE WILL LIKE BUT IS ALSO SAFE AND RELIABLE??

It seems that as a 4x4 driver I am aware that diesel guzzlers are being blamed for wrecking the planet, why dont the powers that be get on to the millions of diesel belching buses, vans and HGV's instead?
I do not live any where near a city, and my 4x4 is converted to LPG, which emits less bad stuff than your average family car, give us a break!we are not all guilty!

Car A and Car B are the same model (an SUV). Both cars must drive the same distance. Car A drives 100 miles per hour and takes 2 hours to get to the destination. Car B drives 75 miles per hour and takes about 2 1/2 hours to get to the same destination. Which car generally uses more gasoline? Or, is it the same amount? It's a matter of running the engine harder vs. running the engine for a longer time.

Ok so My job is on some back *** road and today I was going down the road and:
There were slow ahead, loose gravel signs in stuff like that.
So I slowed down and next thing you know there is gravel everywhere and a truck spraying tar on the road drove by with a gravel truck following.
Why were they doing this to the road?

I was pretty mad because it got my new car all nasty, tar doesnt come off well, rocks stuck to my tires all being thrown up at my car!

So in my anger, I am wondering why?

Have you noticed on every car make, all the parts are the same, but designed differenly. For example Mercedes and Lexus dont have anything to do with eachother, but yet all their car parts are the same. Is their a company where all car makes order their parts from.
