At what point will gas prices hit before you deside to get a smaller car, buy a hybrid, motorcycle or moped?

I've heard that unless you are driving a high performance vehicle such as a Porsche or Ferrari, then it doesn't really matter.

My car stutters when it starts. As long as I don't let the car sit to long before I start it again it starts up fine. But if I let it sit all day the next time I try to start it it stutters again.

I was checking exhaust systems for a 5.7 hemi and I came up to this dyno test results...

It turned out that the 5.7 hemi ram did almost 195 hp...

as I continued searching I also found the results of a 5.3 silverado scoring almost 242 hp...

I am not sure how a 5.3 can achieve more hp then a 5.7 claiming that they're both stock...

why is the US is not looking for alternate fuel..in most asian countries almost all of the vehicles are now running on CNG -Compressed natural gas or LPG - liquified petroleum gas the cost of which is around 20% of that of regular gas..

i live in nj and gas prices here are high (like everywhere else) but there seems to a new trick involved. the gas station i go to has the lowest prices in the area, even if only by a few pennies. i filled up yesterday and noticed the pump displayed a higher price per gallon than was posted on the sign by the road. i asked the guy and he said that was because they now offer a "cash discount" and that was the price displayed at the road. so they lure you in with the low price sign, and gyp you 6 extra cents a gallon at the pump!

anyone else have this experience lately?
