it seems everyone agrees we need less reliance on foriegn oil, yet as a whole we still drive SUV's and gas guslers why is that, It seams high milage cars dont sell, why?

should the goverment put restrictions on car manufactures to make cars with speed ristricters on as most cars can go over 100mph. it not nesessary to go so fast so why buiold cars that go so fast

I will be getting my license by the end of next month... i currently have a permit but can you drive alone without your parents if they have a written permission.
I have to get to summer school and my parents wouldn't be able to take me.

It's a 4 lane street, divided by a median. There are cables running across it, each end attached to something the size of a cable box. I thought they might be some kind of sensors, since they are close to a traffic light, but then why would they go all the way across the street? Any ideas?

Why when I fill up it goes beyond the full mark.
Then when it is at the halfway mark it usually reads 200 miles ( I always reset the trip meter with each fill)
then when I get gasoline next usually at 1/4 tank it isn't anywhere near a reading of 300.

Very Strange! Parked it on a road this morning and come back after work to find a small white 'W' inside a circle, painted in the bottom corner of my windscreen.

Am now two weeks old on my driving lessons but am not doing that fine i thinking am being too nervios. At two weeks am finding problems with making turns or changing some gears. Is this normal or am i just being impossible? Please tell me how long it takes to fully knows how to drive a car? Thanks in advance for your answer.
