I need to rent a hitch and moving trailer....Uhaul doesn't rent hitches anymore, they sell them...does anyone have an alternative?

You will be hard pressed to find a rental hitch mainly because of the liability. You may have to rent a full tow vehicle I know many companies do that try your local ford dealer or budget.

Ever since "5mph bumpers" cars cannot accept bumper hitches, they must attached to the frame. Renting a small truck is the better alternative, unless you will tow again in the future. Be careful, drive safe, watch the temperature gage & only use overdrive on flat highways.

Maybe rent one of their vans or truck.
