I will be getting my license by the end of next month... i currently have a permit but can you drive alone without your parents if they have a written permission.
I have to get to summer school and my parents wouldn't be able to take me.
Would I be able to? (legally)

Or something?

No No No No.
What part of "No" don't you understand?
Sorry, written permission from your parents doesn't cut it.

Not in California, I know because I just went through this with my son. Not legal.

If your parents think you are ready, then you probably are. Have you completed all driver's training, behind the wheel with instructors and that must have time with your parents? I know I would trust my son to do a good job and we live in a town with random law enforcement patrols, none too frequent. His job is also very close. You do what you do to survive, if it was really dangerous, then you shouldn't drive. I suggest getting all the practice you can in now to be that safe knowledgeable driver now and not only after that magic date.

no you cant ,if they catch you they might take the permit from you ,it all depends on the cop that pulls you over, but legally your supposed to have a licensed driver with you at all times,so if you do this ,keep in mind at the very least you could get a big ticket from it,and possibly loose your permit, good luck.

I would go to this page (http://www.dmv.org/teen-drivers.php), click on your state and your states page might give you the answers you need.
