No and no again! This was apparently the ad in the paper??? Anyway - if you are planning to "travel north America" - you need something every mechanic in the country can work on - even the small town guys in those picturesque little villages way down south - namely a Chevy or Ford. They will be just as mechanically sound, the cost will be comparable, and you will be able to get it fixed anywhere - or maybe even do it yourself with parts from Auto Zone type stores.

For sure. The elantra represents a strong value in this segemtns. But, for the money, I would delve into the realms of the toyota corolla or honda civic. About the same price if you go for an early one, and it will not go wrong. Plus, when it comes time to sell, you can bet you will get more than the hyundai.

PLEASE NO. This type of car with that type of mileage is a sure looser. For the money you have you can find a better car.The hyundai is a car that everyone cant fix is one reason. You should for the money try a american car like a chevy or ford that is eazy to fix and parts are cheap.Hope this helps and best of luck with your first car.

take it for a test drive first, after 15 min of driving you will have a better idea of whether or not it's for you. As for the price check KellyBlueBook at kbb.com

157000 k is way too much especially for a hyundai, why do you think they had a transmission replaced, sonner or later the engine will break down. they say its highway driven but who knows.
