Depending on the age of your car you can clean the headliner if it is a much older car. Cars built from the late 70's to today have glued in headliners and can be cleaned but it is tricky. I worked at a auto parts store and I have not heard of any product that will clean a headliner. You can use a very mild soap and water solution and a damp rag to clean light stains or dirt. If you saturate the headliner you stand a good chance of releasing the glue that holds it up and then you have a droopy headliner. HAIRDOO WRECKER I call them. Even upholstry cleaning devices at most do-it yourself car washes will ruin a headliner. Replacing the headliner is a task that a reputable body shop in your area is very capable of. There are also specialty shops that do that very thing as well. It isnt that costly and will yeild the best results. Hope this helps

Automotive supply store....
Upholstery cleaner...
there's lots available.

Just use care to not loosen the adhesive that keeps the headliner up.
