I need a website that shows downforce generated by cars. Even different sites that talk about specific cars is fine, but I need like ten different cars and how many pounds at what speeds. Thanks.

Today on my lunch break, I was sitting in my car in the parking lot at my job listening to an afternoon radio broadcast with the A/C turned on (because it extremely hot around noon) and I thought about how much gas that I was waisting with my car running. I have heard family members say that the A/C in your car uses up gas. I just want to know if its true! Or if you use the cruise control does it uses up most of your gas as well. I'm guilty of doing both (A/C and Cruise) at the same time.

I have a whole bunch of brand-new headlight bulbs, but I can't a website that lists what models of cars the bulb code fits.

I am looking to find what types of cars the bulb fits, so please do not post a website that requires you to select a make and model of a car to get a list of codes. I am doing it backwards.

I was watching the Today Show yesterday and they had a guy on there talking about ways to save on gas. Someone asked him if you had to put premium gas in cars that said premium gas only by the gas caps. He said no, because these cars have ( knock sensors ) letting the engine know if it needs to make adjustments to make the engine to run smoother! I don't think someone would be on a show like that and not know what they are talking about. I didn't catch what or who he worked for. Most if not all cars built in the last ten years are pretty much computerized , making me believe he is right. Is he right?

I got a ticket for doing 55 in a 35. He gave me a ticket for $210, I know there's a site where you can take driver's ed. to reduce the fine and the points won't be put on your license, but I don't know where it is.

Quick rundown: I am 28 years old. Have driven an automatic for 12 years. My first car was a manual and I drove it (relatively speaking for about two weeks before buying an auto). I never took the time to really learn.

I will be buying a new car in a few weeks and am considering just throwing caution to the wind and buying a manual and forcing myself to learn. There is always the chance that I will regret this if I don't like driving stick.

Option 2 is to by an auto and work out learning to drive manual some other way. The downside to this is that I may love driving manual and will regret having bought an auto.

I'm not looking for someone to tell me what to do...I know this is a personal decision. I am simply looking for friendly advice.

What would you do and why?

By the way, I am certain I want to learn manual...no question.
