Ok this is the thrid time iv'e asked this question and i have finnaly figured out that you have to word this question perfectly for people to just give a honest answer. What Tire will last the longest under heavy riding? The MIchelin Pilot Powers 2ct? The Pirelli Diablo's corsa III? Or Metlzers Sportech 3? My last tire was the old Dunlp d207 sportmax. I bought the bike earlier this year and it still had the OG tire on it and now it is Worn bad. So if you have any experience with these tires please tell me how long it lasted you and how the riding charteristics was.

I have a '73 CB350 twin that just recently started giving me electrical problems.

The engine was intermittently missing and after checking pretty much everything else, I replaced the battery. That seemed to fix the problem, which kind of surprised me because the old battery tested good.

Things worked fine for about a week (maybe 40 miles of riding), but now the new battery won't hold a charge. If I charge it up and let the bike sit for a couple of days, when I come back, it's deader than a doornail (~50mV).

I'm almost out of ideas here? One thing I noticed was 40-50 VAC coming off the regulator and into the rectifier at idle. I'm wondering if my regulator is fried since I think it ought to be getting 12-14.5 VAC going into the rectifier. But that would be overcharging the battery, wouldn't it? Electrolyte level looks good so I'm not sure. Maybe a short somewhere?

My sisters boyfriend just bought a Harley and it does just what a Harley should- rumbles so loud that it shakes the driveway. This is well and good, but at 3am when he is just getting home it is pretty annoying to the neighbors (and myself) to be woken up by that. Is there such a thing as a silencer (like for a gun) for a motorcycle? Something that can be taken on and off as needed depending on the time? If not... someone should invent that....

After a work injury I'm starting a new career with a Harley Tech school, with student loans and a grant I have enough for the necessities. I would like you to donate an old Pan or Shovel as a learning tool and eventually a daily rider.

We have a repair shop and are having a hard time figuring out how to reset the electric shift on a honda foreman. We know there is a reset procedure in the service manual but don't want to spend the money on one since it's not our quad. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know.

Thanks

The motorcycle cops where I live ride either Suzuki dirtbikes or Harley.
I remember when I was young they used to ride Harley and Moto Guzzi. Then went to Kawasaki. Now back to Harley. Whats next, the Hayabusa?

From what I have heard it is legal to unrestrict a moped as long as you don't exceed 30mph, is this true?

Is it illegal to ride a 49cc moped with a 70cc bore kit at 16 with a provisional license?

Any extra info would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Yamaha 125 scooter ( I live in Taiwan ) and at times there is a lot of hesitation when I try to accelerate. I've been to the mechanic, we changed the plug wire and condensor. It seems electrical but just cannnot find the trouble. It also seems worse in wet weather, which is very often here. Any ideas?

I put my beautiful 1990 VFR750 into a ditch on Wednesday night, she's torn to shreds and I sold her for scrap. As sad as I am there are always other fish in the sea. I need a new bike, and I want to know what I should get. I would love a double R but I don't want to spend more than 5k. I want a thousand cc no older than 2000, and sport bikes are definitely my style any Ideas?
