I have been told that i don't need a special license but then i read online that it's only under 50cc? and yes i already have my regular drivers license

Anyone know the facts, please serious responses only, i have already done my web research and i don't want links to useless sites.... Thanx

I was thinking about plugging it like i normal would do a car tire but curious if i can since i was told they are different type of tires. My local motorcycle shop said they didnt repair tires causing me to think that theres something behind it and I dont want to buy another tire since its already new. If i cant plug it then what else are my options besides buying a new tire. Any helpful advice will be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

seems to have enough battery charge new battery wants to kick over but just winds. Once in a while it will start for approx. couple of seconds then shut down.

i have a 2stroke scooter, i have it since 2003. one day while i was riding it , it just stopped, i check for the cause and i found out that the sparkplug cap is broken, so i bought a new one, and make a few adjustment in the mixture and idle screws. it runs a lot smoother when i first start taking off down the road.The only problem is that now i've noticed that when i get to about 24 throttle or so, the scooter begins to lag and when i open the throttle widely, it dies. but when i start the engine again it will run. but when i open the throttle again it dies. can anyone help me? please..

i assumed that my bike has tubeless tires b-cuz of the metal valve stems,so i bought a tubeless tire repair kit,however, i am now not too sure if they are tubeless........

I know its old so dont tell me its old. The top end is good the carberatour is good and the clip is in the right place. It shifts all right The only problem is that you can prolly ride it for about 20 mins unless you have it wide open the whole time. Once it dies on you it wont start again. I then check the spark plug and every time it is covered in oil. The gas and oil mixture is at the right ratio. I use the yamalube oil to mix. Also the air filter is clean. Any info would be great.

Help,
My Vespa 150cc scooter will start and run, however, when you turn the handle to rev it up, it will not accelerate. The carburetor has been taken out and cleaned and new parts put in it, but that didn't do the job. Any ideas? I am trying to sell the scooter and this new problem just popped up the day a buyer was coming to look at it. Please let me know what you think, I would love to get it fixed and sold before fall.

i have a banshee that wont run, it doesnt have any spark sometimes and sometimes it will be fine. ive done ohm and continuity tests on every wire on the machine and they all check out. the stator shows normal resistance also. the only thing that i think is left that could be wrong is my CDI or my coil. but i dont know if either can be the problem considering that soemtimes it will spark and sometimes ill get nothing at all? if anyone has some insight into this please help.

Buying a shed from home depot to store bike. Besides security issues....Will a shed protect from heat, cold...Anything I should know about storing a bike with alot of chrome? I am hoping to buy a cruiser motorcycle soon and the stock bars seem like they would be uncomfortable over long distances. T- bars look the obvious alternative, however I am wondering how they affect the handling of the bike and also do they have a practical use or are they purely cosmetic ?

first time buyer of motorcycle gear and it's not for me. it's for my husband and he's deployed. right now, all he has is a jacket. i want to get him a whole set for a gift for when he gets back. what i wanted to know is what's a good brand? do you have to get the jacket, pants, and boots the same size as the user or do you need to go up or down a size? I have a 2005 trx 450r and all of the sudden it started not starting but you can pull start it with a car 5 feet and it starts right up but you have to set the idle up.. ive checked the valves changed the spark plug even cleaned the carb...... still nothing.... im desperate to go riding again can some one please help

The bike was just taken out of storage. Starts and runs fine. Occasionally and particularly under high rpm's a huge amount of white smoke emits from the exhaust. Then bike will leak oil from overflow pipe under air cleaner.

we all no thats it's againts the law to use a mobile while driving a car. but ther are a lot of stupid people that still do. i was cut up by a woman driver in a 4by4 while she was on her's. and woman get cheaper insurance. but my question is this. is it againt the law to use a hands free kit while ridding a motorcycle? i do not know of one. but that does not mean that there is such a law.

Need a bit of advice, i recently split from my b/f who took his bike off the road to do up (ZZR6 (1991)) about a year ago, in the meantime he got another bike so the zzr got left.
Anyway, when we split he couldn't be bothered with messing around trying to find somewhere to keep it, so i bought it off him for a real knock down price. But i dont know weather to do it up myself, (give me experience) then sell it or to sell it now so i can buy a new jacket (which i need)
I paid £200 for it and it will cost me about the same to get it back on the road. Is it worth it?

i have a 2stroke scooter. it`s just a simple problem. when i open it up to Wide Open Throttle (WOT), it begins to lag or worst it dies. how can i fix this? i`m new to scooter so any help would be greatful. thanks in advance.

Pocket Bike leaking gas?
I just bought a pocket bike on ebay. Its a made in China type and was pretty cheap. As soon as I filled the tank with the gas oil mixture it started leaking heavily out the bottom of the bikes over flow tube.
