Need a bit of advice, i recently split from my b/f who took his bike off the road to do up (ZZR6 (1991)) about a year ago, in the meantime he got another bike so the zzr got left.
Anyway, when we split he couldn't be bothered with messing around trying to find somewhere to keep it, so i bought it off him for a real knock down price. But i dont know weather to do it up myself, (give me experience) then sell it or to sell it now so i can buy a new jacket (which i need)
I paid £200 for it and it will cost me about the same to get it back on the road. Is it worth it?

Here in the USA in the state of Ohio that bike retails for between $1800 to $2200 and has a trade-in value of about $1100 t0 $1500 dollars which about 900 pounds to 1100 pounds retail for you and about 550 pounds to 750 pounds trade in value. If it's worth the hassle to you to "do up" and you have the time and want to make a Little profit go for it. I think it's really cool that a girl rides her own bike. Do it up for experience, sell it and make a profit, buy that jacket and get some boots and gloves too. You Go Girl! Good Luck!

If it's only going to cost £200 then fix it up and then you'll have yourself a bargin bike so you could then either keep it for when we eventually get some summer or sell it for a nice profit.
