Looks like someone already won it. If it was you, congrats. I bought my 98' R1 on ebay and got a great deal!

Personally, I would be reluctant to make such a purchase without trying it out. It may be a good deal, but without starting it up and looking it over, who knows? You can only take the word of the seller.
I just bought a new Suzuki 650 right off the dealer floor for $4,500 (incl. tax, tags, etc.).
My suggestion is get someone you know to go with you; someone who knows something about vehicles. Turn the engine over a check out the sound, look for fluid leaks, check the breaks, etc. Go for a test drive to see if it has pick-up. Don't buy a pig in a polk.

400 looks like it probably would be a good deal. This is not a bike, it's a moped. The difference is that this won't go over 30 MPH, if you have it modded you may get 35 MPH. That would be a concern if you have crazy drivers in your area or if there are regulations in your area as to minimum speed or minimum CCs of motorized vehicles.

be carefull. On ebay, unlike cars, motorcycles do not qualify for the ebay satsifaction guarantee. Ther are a bunch of cons on ebay selling motorcycles. Once they get your money, they dissappear.
