Along with doing what Sonny said,
Remove the spark plug.
Put the bike in gear.
Push start it about 50 feet.
That will blow out any water in the crankcase (crankshaft & cylinder, not the transmission).
The crankcase gets loaded with water and is hard to remove.

Hi,you have water in your tank,your carb,air filter,.empty your gas tank,cleanyor air filter,disassemble yor carb and clean it,i would replace the engine oil with fresh oil.No matter what ,do not let the engine sit long before doing all this,rust will attack all metal parts inside,good luck.

If the water went over the exhaust pipe, pull it off and drain it also, water will collect in the bend by the engine.

drain and put fresh oil, open up the carb and flush with fresh gas, an check out all electric cons, spark plugs coils and you might spray them all down with w/d 40 as it will take the moistuere out of the wireing and etc..

if you did not clean it out as soon as you got it out of the water it would be worth your time to look at the top end{piston,rings,cylinder,etc}
