Dude, I'm not a "Harley" guy and I've been riding probably longer than you've been alive so I am not offended by your question, but just a piece of advice. You and everyone else that asks these ridiculous Harley Hater questions really ends up looking like a lameass punk. Grow up guys. This site is for help and information not for a bunch of pissy little babies to moan and groan about every dislike they have. Enough is enough.

I started 20 years ago on a Honda. And I am still riding Hondas. Why? Money. I cannot justify spending triple the money for the name on the side of the gas tank. All the major brands use the same technology. All the aftermarket companies sell the same chrome bits weather the bike is a HD or a HonDa. Where is the real difference? Only in the mind of the man who pays for what he wants.

Ya got to start somewhere.I got my first Harley in 1972 and have had one ever since, I have three now. I still don't own a pair of chaps. a do rag, or a tattoo,And for the people that do...I'm happy for them and glad they're having a good time.Life is too short to spend my time worrying about what other people do.Why does it bother you?What do you ride?Are you offended by people impersonating a real biker like you? Step up to the plate and tell us why you're a real biker.

Would not then anyone who buys any type of "first bike" be a poser?
For example if a guy goes out and buys a GSXR as a first bike is he not posing as a sportbike rider?

your question should be why do the posers get their panties in a bunch when you point out that there are more metric screws on their bike then standard and then start pointing to parts and say this is made in china, that one in tiwan, that part in mexico.... just like seeing people buyin hd wcc and occ stuff at walmart and thinking that they are all badass and dont have a bike.... only thing those have going for them is they were not dumb enough to pay the over inflated price from the aforementioned companies

Really man.....I know what you mean. That's why I go to the local YamahaSuzukiHondaKawasaki emporium to buy cleaning supplies and other essentials. Of course I have to wear camo shorts, a black t-shirt, a backwards baseball cap, and an earring through my bottom lip if I want to get waited on. Some of the parts guys can see through that though. I think it's because I don't have big sideburns.

Its why I dont ride on the weekends to much. all the posers out there. I ride with people I know who have been riding for yrs . I ride mine everyday to work, rain or shine. you know what makes me mad? its the posers who wont wave at me when I am on my scooter, yes I also have a 650 burgman for my old lady and to take on trips and I get the snub from weekend bikers lol.

Well maybe they just want to go with the American, so people buy a bike for the first time and think they are hard core bikers.... I know what your saying.... what is funny are the people who put Harley stickers all over their cars and trucks, but dont own a Harley..... retarts!!!
