how much oil do i put in an aprilia futura 1000?

i am servicing my 2004 aprilia futura and am replacing the oil. does anyone know how much oil i need to put in, as i've lost my manual

don't forget to check the level when the bike is up to operating temp! (applies to aprilia 1000cc V twins only before i get slagged off!)
