My 2004 pontiac grand am gt1's instrument panel isn't work, techometer speedometer rpm gauge and temp. gauge don't work im clueless to who this happened...anyone able to help?


aws trying to fix my radio but that shouldnt have anything doto do with ti and i cant find any blown fuses..

Let me ask you guys this, on a fully functional car air conditioning system, the more freon you put in the cars system, does this mean it should blow colder air into the cabin? Or does the amount of freon not really mean much? Thanks...

I drive a Toyota RAV4, and for the past few days my headlights won't turn off (even though it's in the off position). I have to pull the fuse when I want my lights off. Has this happened to anyone else before? And what may be the cause?

I was behind the car I wasn't really paying attention because I was a little drowsy and the car moved and the hit the rear bumper and it wasn't really a big deal like major damage but my car hood is bent a little from the left side and the grill is bent a little also. I didn't call the police because the other car had no damage to it done. So what should I do? Should I report the minor accident or should I leave it the way it is? If I do report it will my insurace rate go up because of this little collision ? Or should I take it to a car shop and have them fix the hood ? The car isn't mine what am I going to tell my mom about her car should I tell her the truth?

My son has a 1996 Taurus & after putting in a new battery, the brake lights no longer work. (The battery is the correct one, according to the manual.) The turn signals, which are on the same fuse, do. What the heck could be the matter here? Could this be a wiring issue?

I drive a mitsubitshi montero sport and after i got my oil changed everytime i take off a puff of black smoke comes out the tail pipe. im not sure what it is, but someone told my that it may be the oxygen sensor but ive never heard of that... can ne one tell my what it is and why it hapened and how much it will cost to fix it??

When I drive and I have been driving for a while my car just stops. The check engine soon light comes on and all the other lights that are on when you first go to start the engine...they all come on, but the car just stops. Then we turn it off, give it a minute and it drives again....for a while. What could be wrong.?

I have a 95 Ford Explorer and it runs just fine except when the weather gets hot, sometimes it has trouble starting. It starts and immediately dies. Sometimes it'll start if you put it in neutral and rev up the engine for a minute or two. It only does this when the weather gets hot outside. Any other time (Fall, Winter, at night, etc.) it starts just fine with no problems. It did this to me again today (it was about 90 degrees today). I made 3 stops previously in the day and it started fine and then I went to the post office, wasn't there 5 minutes and I came out and it started this. It's almost like the engine didn't have time to cool down or something, which shouldn't matter I wouldn't think. Everyone else's car at the post office started! Any ideas on what could be the reason?

OK. I have a bulb out in my headlight assembly, but I have no idea what the name of the bulb is or where I would find it. It is the bulb next to the headlight bulb and it is a small orange bulb. Can anyone tell me what the bulb is and where I might find a replacement bulb? Thanks ahead of time.

Ok, since I bought my 2001 Dodge Van for work, it just hasn't been right and no mechanic has been able to figure it out. I'm thinking a priest may be what I really need. Ok here's the problem. My van surges/races constantly, but only when the weather is warm. It's been fine all winter long. And oh yea, it picks and chooses what days it wants to act up and what days it will idle just fine. When it's bad, man it's bad. It will stall like crazy, and many times I almost rear-ended the person in front of me when stopped at a redlight due to a surge. The check engine light never comes on. Every mechanic says there is nothing wrong when CLEARLY there is. They put the computer tester on and no errors come up. The van could be acting crazy all day long and the moment I bring it in to the mechanic so he can see... everything is freakin fine!! I'm going crazy and I'm hoping someone out there knows their stuff and can be my savior. I'm told it'd not a vacuum leak, 02 sensor or EKG.

its a 1996 grand prix. well uhh the other day it was raining bad and well the car stalled or w.e its called. after that the rpms got real high afterwords and also like from 30 to 35 the trans takes a long time to shift the rpms get real high and now changing shifts and shifts really hard what could it be. the fault codes were P0121, P0305 and P0756 plz help
