why is antifreeze leaking out of the top of my over flow tank?

i had a new radiator put in as well as a new thermastate also had a check for a blown head gasket im confused

The most likely cause is the Radiator cap is not holding pressure. They must have reused your old radiator cap, or the radiator cap they installed is defective.

is the vehicle overheating? The overflow bottle should only be filled half way. Check the radiator cap

your car my have the wrong radiator cap.
Check your manuel for the right pressure cap and see if it needs a safty or a reg. cap for it.
