My check engine light came on in my 97 jeep grand cherokee about 2 weeks ago. I took it to Pep Boys and they did a diagnostics check on it, and they said it was a transmission problem. It could be bad fluid, bad solenoid, or somthing wrong with the torque/clutch converter. To me that sounds pretty expensive. I havent had time to really go and get it checked out with work and all. I just found out about this thing about jeeps; If you turn the ignition off, on, off, on, off, on; The odometer will read a code. The code on my jeep read: 12, 37, 55. I did reasearch on the codes, and the 37 seems to be the problem. Is there anyone who can give me some ideas, or solutions on how to fix this to make this damn light go off?

On my ldv flatback van, one of the indicators flashes really fast, like it does when a bulb has gone... but all of the bulbs work!! when i put the hazards on, it flashes at normal speed. Anyone got any ideas as to what i need to do to rectify the problem?

I have to replace my front wheel bearings on my truck.Can you point me in the right direction on how to tighten them down correctly after installation.How tight do i make the axle nut or anything that may have to do while i'm replacing them.Thanks.

Something got caught in the diverter valve on the heater of my pickup. 1977 chevy C10, the hot/cold on the dash dosent go all the way to hot, i can push it there but it springs back so i think its a mouse nest. anyone know how to access that flapper??, ive looked in my haynes manual and it says i have to remove the entire heater core also to access the air distributor, and i really dont want to do that.. i think there is an easier way, i hope im right. Thanks

I have a 94 Pontiac Grand Prix...I have noticed that while driving on the highway, my car shakes somewhat whenever I change lanes or have to turn the wheels left or right. At lower speeds (under 50mph or so), this occurence does not happen. I am thinking that it may have something to do with the tires (pressure, need to be rotated). What do ya think? Thanks.

On Friday my car key snapped. Annoying in it's self however I also have the problem that the only spare key i have only opens and locks the car but won't turn in the ignition. Has anyone got any ideas? Do I need to change the whole barrel?
It's a second car so I don't know if the barrels have been changed before therefore if i order of the chasie number it may be £100 wasted.
