I have a mitsubishi Mirage a 92 i have fixed the coils, changed the spark plugs and put in a new battery i have had the computer checked out and they said it was fine what else can be wrong it starts kind of but it dosent RUN, its pass the piont of the clicking like a wood pecker what else can i do

have a compression check on the engine, and check for possible blockage in the exhaust system or a stuck EGR valve.

Sounds like it may be a fule injection problem. Start by changing the fuel filter and the air filter. If that doesn't help, then you may need to have the system cleaned. If that doesn't work, then you may have a blocked tailpipe and that doesn't allow the exhaust to flow, and hence, your car won't run.

check the fuel pressure. it might be too low due to a bad pump, relief valve, filter, junk in the lines. check for water in the gas.

When you changed the plugs and wires did you make sure they are all wired in the correct firing order?

If you've done a lot of start and stopping the engine, it could be your starter/solenoid.

You need a new starter. Or Your Engine is lock.
