Pull engine,remove flywheel and have it "surfaced" at a machine shop,replace clutch plate,pressure plate and throw-out bearing. Reassemble,,:-)=

i own a repair shop,and you didn't finish the question ,but im guessing you need info on how to put one in,simply put the engine has to come out of it to replace it,i have done a lot of them and there no fun,but one good thing about it they last a real long time once replaced,but that's the only way if its a bug any other vw product can be done with the engine in,good luck,i hope this help,s.

I agree with Jcontrol except *always* install a new rear main bearing seal while the clutch is out. They are cheap.
