Well, all of the above could do it...cheapest to most expensive follows.
First, check your air pressure in your tires...you should do this regularly, it does save gas!
Then, have someone check for balance on all 4 tires.
Have someone do a front end alignment & look for other worn parts like tie rod ends, CV joints etc. Actually check parts first, if you need tie rod ends you will need another alignment...
Time for a suspension overhaul!

Does the whole car shake? if it is only steering wheel that shakes then the front tires are CHOPPED. This is caused by tire out of alignment. try rotation of tires and a tire balance. Run your hands accross tread and see if you feel high and low spots. Rear tires chop due to rear end out of alignment. so have tires checked and possible alignment

First have the tires balanced. This is the cheapest possible fix. If that doesn't help, have the front end aligned. If that doesn't help you may have some wear in some of the bushings in your front end assembly (steering or suspension). When you have the front end aligned, ask the mechanic to check for wear (he should do it anyway, but you never know).

You probably have bad tires or need front end work. Easiest way to check whether it is a tire or not is to take it to a tire shop and they can run it at speed to check if the steel belts have warped. Very common problem.

Could be Tire Pressure or worn Tires, Bad shocks, or Alignment. If its Shocks your tires will have flat spots all around the edge.

Your tires need to be balanced... if they are not you will feel a shaking in the stearing wheel as you drive. If its not shaking but pulling to one side thats an alignment

Yes, it does sound like you need balancing, but also there is probably a buildup of mud and or dirt in clumps on the inside of your rims. scrape them out and see if that works before spending money on a balance

It can be warped steel radial, your front end may need alignment or it could be something more serious. You should get this looked at as it can be serious.

you have broken a radial in your tire, check for a lump that continues to get bigger (slowly) and you'll need to change the tire soon
