While I'm driving the car will turn off suddenly, the RMP meter and the spedometer will immediatelly drop. After that, I would have to let the car sit for about a minute and then it will start back up.

My window motor on the driver side of my '99 camry is dying quickly. Is the motor universal to whereas a mechanic can take out the back seat motor and replace it with the front seat? Or do I need to purchase an entire new one? Can a mechanic do that? Or will I HAVE to go through the dealer?

Also, if I have to purchase a new motor, how much do they generally run?

i have a b2200 1993 mazda pickup, and it smokes for liek 3 blocks when i start it up every morning and its burning the oil i go through, 1 qt. every 2 or 3 days. its blueish grey smoke. any input would be greatley apreciated.

Have problem with my antifreeze on my 96 truck?
the coolant level is on between high n low

i just got my antifreeze filled up couple weeks ago..but now its already low? what is the problem here?

do i need go to mechanic and see why is already on low?

i dont see any leaks..and i dont smell anything..

how can i save my antifreeze?..i think i gotta go to mechanic again and see why its going down so quickly?

how long does antifreeze last on 96 truck??

I keep finding a pool of water in the boot under the spare tyre. Can't seem to find where it's getting in. No sign of it running down from anywhere.

My girlfriend was driving her car one day, I was in the passenger seat, when all of the sudden it just turned off. It would not start again. I thought I smelled gas for a minute or so. We pushed the car to the side of the road and it just wouldn't start. She had it towed home. She took it to the shop and they said there was something wrong with the PCM cause their computer could not get a reading, but other opinions suggest that they did not have the proper equiptment to daignose. She had someone else tell her the it could be the fuel pump. So it was towed again to go have the fuel pump replaced. It still didn't start. This is about 650 dollars later and we still don't know what's wrong. I am desparate to know what is wrong. The starter turns like normal but the engine just will not start. The fuel will not get to the motor, no pressure in the lines, the lines are clear. The fuses are good, the filter has been changed twice. What could be wrong?

I just found out I don't have bad gas in my car. Diagnostics prove that it's a computer problem. Should I get a used (no guarantee) cheaper computer or a re-manufactured (two-year guarantee) expensive computer?

Hello,

I have recently changed the spark plugs.

When i accelerate in 1st gear, the car sometimes judders and doesn't want to get going... It also happens sometimes when i'm going faster in higher gears.

Also, when i put the clutch down and brake to stop; the car nearly always stalls, unless i can keep it rev'ed up (which is difficult when trying to stop).

Today, the car also made a nasty sort of scream and refused to switch back on when it stalled; at a busy roundabout...

As I am not mechanically minded is it possible to change a ordinary 2.5 diesel engine and exchange it for a 2.5 turbo diesel engine.
