i have a mk1 golf that was in excellent condition until a few months ago when someone pinched the drivers side wing mirror i have tried to locate on locally and had no luck i have tried to get one from ebay but they are only sutible for the car and not the same as the originals a i would like to keep it as origanal as possible i do not want to spoil it with cheapies that dont look the same if anyone has one or knows wher i can get one it would be much appreiciated

I'm at a loss to grasp this one, I don't have the owners manual, can't find fuse blk diag. anywhere. I figure the only thing left is the fuse block itself or the headlight switch, right?

It is a 5 hp engine, sounds like it is going to turn over but never starts. Last time it started it ran and then suddenly stopped.. Hasn't ran since then. Any ideas would be greatly appritiated.. It is also only a 2 old engine.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a "Beep Code" Diagnostics sheet for my Mitsubishi Eclipse 1993?

The guy at Autozone gave us a key to insert into a spot under the dash, and he said the beeps will tell us whats the matter with it.

Any idea where I can find such a sheet at?

As stated in my last question. My car pulled to the left, and i had to hold the wheel slightly to the right to maintain a strait path. I just switched both front end tires, NOW it pulls to the RIGHT!. Is there any new information i can know for sure now that i've done this?

i am changing my coil in my 1991 toyota camry and i cant locate it, in older engines you would just follow the center wire on the distributor cap but in this case there isnt one.

I need all four tires to be replaced and I also have some slight damage on the front of the vehicle from rear-ending somebody.

The question is - should I trade in the car unfixed or should I fix the car and then trade it in?

First off I don`t know to much about car`s.So like I said be4,my car is leaking oil,and now I see that their is oil on the engine it`s looks like it has started on the side of the engine block.So is it a problem I need to take care of now, be4 I start driving it again,and if I drive it will the engine lock up on me.

have a 94 Toyota Corolla with 78,800 miles, speedometer started acting up. it stays on 0 then when I think i'm going about 40 to 45 mph it will shoots up to 60-65 mph but only goes to 70 mph even if i floored it. once i slow down, it will drop to 0 specially when i step on the brake. the odometer is working fine.

When it does not move backwards after putting it into the reverse gear, I move it back to drive and then back into the reverse gear and she kicks into reverse and moves backward. I do not have any burning smell from the transmission fluid and it is not leaking fluid. This car has only got 53,000 kgs. and has not been driven hard. What could be the problem?

I took a 50 mile trip, parked. Came back 6 hours later, and now i have a problem. My car pulls to the left. I must turn my wheel slightly to the right to maintain a strait path. If let go, the wheel will even out and will pull to the left immediatly. If you're answer to this is 'see a mechanic', then dont bother posting when you dont know anything. I would like to know ALL the possible causes of this issue, the severity level of the issue, and what the typical price range is for the different options. Appreciate the help, thanks.
