I took a 50 mile trip, parked. Came back 6 hours later, and now i have a problem. My car pulls to the left. I must turn my wheel slightly to the right to maintain a strait path. If let go, the wheel will even out and will pull to the left immediatly. If you're answer to this is 'see a mechanic', then dont bother posting when you dont know anything. I would like to know ALL the possible causes of this issue, the severity level of the issue, and what the typical price range is for the different options. Appreciate the help, thanks.

First make sure the tire pressure is equal in all four tires. Second, jack the front up off the ground and see if the tires spin freely. Could be a brake dragging.

One of the simplest issues which will cause that problem is UNEVEN tire pressure! Check to see if you ran over a foreign object which is causing a slow leak. Generally speaking, alignment problems do not occur that way unless you have been banging curbs or bahaing the vehicle some place. If that isn't the case then front end work is more than likely the cause such as tie rod ends, ball joints etc. That would require careful inspection and analysis by your mechanic. As far as cost is concerned it varies tremendously by vehicle, year, model etc.

Parked the car and came back six hours later, car pulls to leftYou don;tmention anything about car, year, make ?
I would guess you have power steering, which doesn't mean much.
My closest guess, not knowing where you parked, is that someone may have attempted to tow your car.
Look under front end and see if there are any marks, like from a tow hook or such, look carefully at the tie rod and see if it may be bent.
Pretty far out guess but all the other problems listed just don't happen to a parked car.

You either have bad tires or a mismatch, need alignment or have something loose in front end, ball joint, tie rod end etc. it can be checked by taking all weight off car and looking for play both up and down and side to side by grabbing wheel and rocking ...

well the first thing you need to check is the tire pressures in the front tires to rule out low tire. the you need to take it to a shop that can do a front end alighnment. have them just check it first and let you know what they find. they will be a little more adapt to tell you how much it will cost.

Check tire presssures first. A low tire can cause this to happen.
