when i turn the key on i get no electrical. the battery is strong and the coil is new. the wires are new as well. i can crank the engine from the starter relay under the hood but i have to electricity to the coil and distributor. the wires look good. can it be my ignition or is it something else?? the alternator is new as well as the starter relay. i have had to replace the balast resistor or the ceramic block and the drivere fender well. when i did the truck would start from the starter relay if the key was on. but after i turned off the truck i would have no more electrial when i turned the key back on to start it. what in the world do i do?? by the way, can the voltage regulator have anything to do with this??

I have small black specks on my car which was parked under a tree. I can pop them off with my fingernail. Yet it would take 10 hours and seams to be marking my paint. Any help out there?

I have an 84 Camarao just a little get me places car, has the 2.8 V6 and TH700-R4 transmission. Now, I have 2 questions really... first... when the transmission is warm, the fluid stays in, theres no leaks, but when it gets cold, -all- the transmission fluid comes out of somewhere...and its not the pan. Second, it had been slipping, hence my intimate knowledge of the fluid level, Ive been keeping ontop of it enough so it'll get me by til I get a new transmission. But, now its stuck in drive, and the shifter does not grab anything, it just flops from top to bottom through p,r,n,o,d,2,1 it wont catch anything. Now, would this be a linkage problem, or is my transmission finally, truely, toast?

So my '86 Toyota truck (manual, 22r) will die when i'm not in gear so whenever I coast down the road and don't have it in gear or at stop lights/signs. I recently replaced the spark plugs, rotor and cap, and the master clutch cylinder... The odd thing though, is that it only dies once it is up to running tempurature... When the engine is cold it runs without dieing... I imgaine I could probably turn the idle up to fix this problem, but that seems more like i'm just ignoring the problem than repairing it... does anyone have any ideas?

The illumination is great but they only seem to last at worst a couple of months before one of them burns out!!!! They're so expensive to replace I've decided to go back to the regular halogen bulbs! Has Sylvania improved this product at all?

I've looked under my truck, but couldn't find any. I ask some mechanics when they add it to the bill, but they avoid the question at all costs.

yah ive got a 94 intreped,3.5 litre the engine is sweet only have 100000 miles on it my freaking tranny went out after having the fluid & filter changed. i love the car is sweet, so is 1600.00 to much to put a Rebuilt Transmission? any feed back would be great. i've been told many times that the transmissions are nothing but junk, now i mean they are going to disasemble the one in it, rebuild it from scratch. the man from the transmission shop told me,i'de be able to get at least another 80000 miles on a rebuilt transmission. i swear the car is like a four wheel drive in the snow. so i wanna keep it as long as possible

my 2000 p/u with 6.0 eng. will not restart after about an hour of driving unless you let it sit for 10-15 minutes. It has fuel, it wants to start on the start position of the ign but when you release to the run position it dies. There is a coil per cyl., and I have already replaced the ign. relay in the fuse box. If I drive it short distances, like around town it works just fine, this only occurs on longer trips of 30-60 miles. Just started happening last week. None of the warning lights are coming on. Also, maybe coincidence, but this has occured the day after gassing up the truck as well. twice. Can you give me any sort of ideas????

If i just turn the key so that the radio and stuff is on, everything works fine. But when i go to start the car, the only thing that happens is the electricity cuts for a second just like when you actually start the car. I usually have to attempt starting it for a few minutes before it actually goes. Never fails to start once the starting is initiated, its the initiation thats the problem. If I leave the radio and things on for 10-20 seconds it will start more consistantly, but still not every time. I just replaced battery and spark plugs so I know theres no problem there. Seems like the messsage for the car to ignite just isnt getting through for some reason, almost like the engine isnt receiving the signal or something. Sometimes if Im on a hill and put it in neutral and let it roll a little it will start more easily but I've only tried that a few times. Havent been able to get a stragiht answer as of yet plz help.

The front tyres of my car (Maruti Suzuki Zen) always look as if the air-pressure is low. But, I've got it checked from 3-4 mechanics who all say that the pressure is OK, and it's only bcoz of the engine weight. Is this really normal? How come all other cars have fully inflated tyres, and mine doesn't?
