Since gas prices are between $2.60 and $3.50 a gallon depending on what part of the country you live. I wonder if we will ever see the gas prices below the $2.00 range?

Here is mine: 1988 Olds 98. Began running rough, changed ox sensor, changed mass flow sensor, finally took it to a GM dealer. Mr. Goodwrench, laughed walked to the rear door cigarette lighter and pulled out a penny my 3 year old son had drop into the empty lighter slot. Car ran great after that. Truth is better than fiction.

I have a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon, its a manual transmission and I just recently fixed 2 flats on it. The tires were balanced at the shop before I put them on. Now when I drive over 60 mph my steering wheel shakes but not the whole time. It shakes about every 20-30 seconds. Also, my check engine light came on. I checked my engine coolant and it was really low so I put more in. Also I need to get an oil change asap...Could this maybe be the reason for the shaking?? Any ideas??

I also lost all my speed readings and odometer readings. The Tack readings are there and racing when I give gas. The ABS light came on and would stay on. I was able to drive manually for awhile but now I can only go about 15 mph. Recently I lost the reverse on it. Also the gas gage was giving odd readings. Would show me empty when there was half a tank or more. Then would show full when there was 3/4 tank. One shop says tranny and another says speed sensor. At this point am not sure what to think. Have dealt with tranny problems with a Dodge Truck and this is very different. Im not hanging up in any gear and then slamming into another with this. I was able to shift from first to second and so forth. Any hints might help before I shoot the thing and bury it. Thanks in advance.

My 2002 530 BMW has 117,000 miles. Do i need to continue to get it serviced at a BMW dealership or would a "regular service station" be capable of servicing it?

my automatic tranny is shifting sparatically and its driving me insane. ill be going the same speed, and it will downshift out of nowhere, then upshift constantly. it dosent shift very easily, seems to get stuck in nuetral. also, when it is cold, it takes about 45 seconds to shift into drive, then when its warm, it takes about 5-10 seconds for it to shift from park to drive. I have a 1989 chevy suburban v2500. i put a turbo hydramatic 400 tranny in it, and this will have been my second rebuild. the modulater is in working conditions, and im pretty sure the vacuum is working, more testing is required. tranny fluid is clean, but i have yet to check the magnet in then tranny pan. the level of fluid was constantly monitered due to its rebuild. its only 2 years old, and ive already rebuilt it before. any diagnostic tips would work wonders for me. i would also like a link to a troubleshooting chart if anyone knows where one exists.

1995 OLds Aurora. Only 1 side of the car has working vents in the front. The passenger side vents blow fine, and the rear vents work, but not the front drivers side. Any input / suggestions as to where to start. Can it be repaired by a regular old joe with some mechanical knowledge and no special tools, or is this a repair best left to the pros?

I recently noticed a variable whining sound from my Chevy Cavalier (2000 model). The whining soon stopped (after hearing it on just 2 short trips out locally), and then so did my air conditioning. Is it likely that my compressor bearings have failed so I'm no longer turning the compressor? Can anone tell me how big a job this might be and estimate a repair cost at a service station. Or suggest what else might be the problem...
Thanks

When I changed my battery, the digital voltometer now has (???) , the inside lights don't work, and the a/c compressor doesn't turn on when i turn on the the a/c. Since I took off the battery, I figure it has to do something with the computer. I checked all three fuse boxes and everything seems to be fine with the fuses.

We have a 1998 Chevy S10 which needs to have the clutch adjusted. I refuse to take it to any of the local mechanics because it is impossible to find anyone honest and we don't have much money.

Can anyone explain how to do this or point me in the direction of a good internet resource?
